1970 - 1974

1970

Started the PVC pipe business “Elephant” at the Nonthaburi plant. Also known as “Rongtonon” under Thai Paper Tile Co., Ltd. (SFCC) (SFCC), one of the companies of the Siam Cement Group.

1974

Has switched to the TIS (Thai Industrial Standards) standard from the Thai Industrial Standards Institute. which has a standard for producing pipes that are blue plumbing pipes instead of standard gray pipe

1981 - 1984

1981

has expanded production capacity and increase the variety in the production of products with the addition of the factory expansion and continually purchase more pipe making machines

1983

Start producing PVC connectors.

1990 - 1999

1990

The pipe business continues to grow. and separated to establish a new company under the name of Siam Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. (SPICO) by using a new brand and changing the product name or brand name to “Elephant Pipe”, establishing a factory at Nong Khae District, Saraburi Province

1991

Moved the factory to establish at the Siam Cement Group Industrial Estate, Nong Khae District, Saraburi Province, and started having the brand “Tiger Pipe” coming out to the market.

1996

Expanded business by establishing Nawaplastic Industry Co., Ltd. at Ban Khai District, Rayong Province.

1998

– Changed the company name from Siam Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. (SPICO) to Nawaplastic Industries (Saraburi) Co., Ltd. (NPI)
– Received the Environment Recognition Award 98, an honorary award for the company as an entrepreneur industrial plant that maintains outstanding water quality in the environment from the industrial zone of the Siam Cement Group, Saraburi Province

1999

Moved SCG Business Group from Cement-Building Materials Group to Chemicals Group under the supervision of the company Thai Plastic and Chemicals Public Company Limited (TPC)
